The Most Difficult Parish in the Diocese

Posted in the Events Category

The Most Difficult Parish in the Diocese is the title of a talk by local historian Chris Riley.

At one time St Augustine’s was the only Anglican church in Penarth and the churchyard was the only burial ground.  As Penarth grew in Queen Victoria’s reign so did political tension, religious rivalry and personal tragedy – and All Saints church was founded.
