There was a disappointingly small attendance at The Friends of St Augustine’s AGM held in the Parish Hall at 2.30pm on Thursday 12th May.
Attendees heard the Chair’s report and approved the annual accounts. The Membership Secretary reported a total of 162 members, including several who joined as a result of the autumn talks and other events held last year.
There was a report on the Habitat and Heritage project.
Nine members were elected onto the Executive Committee. They will meet on the 9th June.
Refreshments were served and most members stayed in the hall for a talk on swifts.
