John Boyle

John Boyle was born in Cardiff in 1887. Son of Rachel Boyle, brother of James, Florence and Alice of 7 Earl Street, Canton (1901 Census). Brother of Edwin (Edward) Boyle. Married and living at 21 James Street (now Coronation Terrace) (from ‘Penarth Times). John served in113th Siege Battalion, Royal Garrison Artillery with the rank of Gunner (service number 312). He died on 30/08/1916 aged 30 and is buried  in IV. G. 13 Peronne Road Cemetery, Maricourt.
