Frederick J Wall
Frederick James Wall was born on 22nd January 1899 in Burton near Lincoln, the son of James Charles and Martha Wall (nee Bradford) and brother of Hilda. In 1911 the family lived at 8 Cawnpore St, Cogan. Frederick was educated at Penarth County School and was a clerk in the Cardiff Docks Branch of the London City & Midland Bank. He served in Training Reserve, 75th Battalion, the Kings (Liverpool Regiment) enlisting on 15th February 1917. He died on 7th March 1917 aged 18, of pneumonia contracted while training. He is buried in grave C. 116., Penarth Cemetery.
