Arthur Mules
Arthur George Mules was born in Penarth. In 1911 he was working as a dock labourer and lived at 5 John Street with his sisters May Mules and Amy Martin (a widow) and nieces and nephews Irene, A.B., Edna, Frank, Harry and Edith. Arthur served in the 2nd Battalion, the Royal Welsh Fusiliers with the rank of Private (service number 235382). He was killed in action on 26th September 1917 aged 26 and is buried at XII. F. 10., Hooge Crater Cemetery. He formerly served in Welsh Regiment (service number 202453).
