On Thursday 5th September 2024, despite the wet weather during the day, 10 visitors joined Jess Dangerfield, a bat expert from the Cardiff Bat Group. for a general talk inside the church at 7.30pm.

After the talk and questions the rain had stopped although it was windy.   Bat detectors fired up it was possible to hear signals from common pipistrelle bats.  At the west side of the church the bats could be seen flying around a large sycamore tree near the north entrance to the churchyard.

The interesting evening ended at about 9pm.
