Bat Evening

About 40 people, including children, enjoyed a Bat Evening in the grounds of the church on Thursday 15th September. The bat walk and talk was led by Jess Dangerfield, Chair of the Vale of Glamorgan Bat Group.
Bat detectors were provided by the Bat Group and the Friends of Victoria Square. Common and Soprano Pipistrelle bats were both seen and heard, especially over the wooded area across Church Place North.
The Friends hope to repeat the Bat Evening next year.
