As part of Armed Forces Day on 20th June, the church was open from 11am to 3pm to enable visitors to see the Roll of Honour.
Members of the Roll of Honour team were on hand to tell visitors about the Roll, to answer questions and to display the information we have about the lives of the men on the Roll. Some visitors shared information they had about the men who gave their lives in the Great War.
There were about 20 visitors. Most of them came by chance because the church was open but there were some who came especially to see the Roll.
All the visitors were very impressed by the church and there was a lot of interest shown in the displays. This information, and more, will be on show again on Saturday 4th July from 3.30 – 5pm.
